EASY STEPS
1. Contact me for a quote. Send a copy of your completed manuscript, divided by page numbers, containing the text and a description of the illustration desired for each page. The more descriptive information you can provide on what you want, the clearer the process will be.
For example:
For example:
Page 1
Text: “Once upon a time there was a big giant that lived in the forest.”
Illustration: A 20 foot giant creature that looks like a cross between a man and a bear is peering at us through a dense forest of pine trees.

Also include the book size you desire, and any other relative information. After reviewing your story and illustration notes, and I feel I can best serve your story, I prepare a quote for illustrating your book and submit it to you for your consideration.
2. If you accept the quote, I will then prepare a contract clearly defining the terms and payment installment schedule. When you read and agree to the contract, sign and return to me. Then you will make the initial installment payment (1 of 3).
3. I begin to create rough pencil sketches of your illustrations, and submit them to you for review. One round of revisions can be requested at this time (additional revisions will incur extra costs). After all the rough sketches are approved, the second payment is required.
4. Now I begin work on the final color illustrations. Once completed, you review them and either give approval or request revisions. One round of revisions is allowed to the color before extra charges apply. With all final color illustrations completed and approved, the final payment is required.
5. Your illustrations are complete. I deliver the final, high-resolution files of all the illustrations to you electronically or by CD via mail.
